  Rubaiyat for Tenor and Piano, Tehran,Khoramshahr 30/03/2017

 

Iran Premiere  of Rubaiyat for tenor and piano.

French musicians, Anna Celine Lia Roques, Tenor Thomas Tacquet Fabre, Piano and Anne celine Herbreteau

will perform three concerts in Tehran and Khoramshahr. The program will include works by french romantic music as well as a song collection by S. Farhat, Iranian composer. There will be additional master classes and workshops. 

Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyám(Persia 1048-1131) is the title that Edward FitzGerald gave to his translation of a selection of poems, originally written in Persian and numbering about a thousand, attributed to Omar Khayyám, a Persian poet, mathematician and astronomer.
